Research Camp

August 23–28

Let's explore a 21,000+ year old

megalithic structure on Saaremaa

Join our participation camp and let’s explore together!

Our goal is to discover on-site signs of pre-Ice Age eras and interpret them collectively. We will be investigating two different civilizations, with intuitive datings of 26,000 years ago and 21,000 years ago. In those times, the area was actively inhabited, leaving behind traces of activity for us to perceive.

In the participation camp, we will learn how to sense and recognize historical patterns that the eye might not notice at first. To find something, one must first learn to see. An experienced Seer will guide you in tuning your senses and noticing the signs that the land and stones wish to show us. This is a practice of intuitive research, where discoveries emerge through both the inner and the outer world.

The research activities consist of three parts:

  1. Spotting in open landscapes megalithic stones that bear traces of shaping. The goal is to find stones with smooth surfaces, right-angled cuts, curved disc-cutter marks, and so on.

  2. Cleaning such stones and structures in an old quarry. All necessary tools – buckets, trowels, shovels, brushes, and even some heavy equipment for moving or turning large stones – will be provided.

  3. During the camp, the main task for participants is to perceive signs of ancient lifestyles and inhabitants. Each participant will record their personal perceptions in the form of a drawing or a text, after which the results will be analyzed together with the experienced Seer.

We are sailing in uncharted waters – therefore, no perception result is too strange or unexpected!
